TESTIMONIALS

(Some feedback from a few of our clients/students)

Phil the black Labrador Retriever puppy
Dr. Mario Panaligan
thru Mr. Jappy Castillo
Basic Obedience

I learned about Manalo K9 from a fraternity brother, with good feedback.

We were treated nicely and my first impression of them was good, so I was comfortable leaving Phil at their facilities.  We were pleased during visits to the camp, even though initially we worried for his health.

The turn-over ceremonies was good, and Phil did learn a lot!  It was nice to see that the trainer really did his job well.  I was very pleased handling my trained Phil, and I was able to do the commands, and Phil was able to follow.

It felt good to have had my dog trained at Manalo K9.

Continue doing a good job!

Ms. Sam Evangelista
Pet Express Puppy 101 Participant

Hi I'm Sam Evangelista, I was one of your guests from Puppy 101. I would like to send my gratitude to Dr. Abel Manalo of Manalo K9, one of the speakers during the event.

I've learned that the best way to motivate your furkids to learn new things is by giving them praise, rewards, and being consistent. And, that if you're going to praise them, it must be on a high pitch or it must be low pitch for correcting.  And to treat native dogs (Philippine Aso) as fairly as you treat purebred furkids.

It's a great help!  Again, thank you for the knowledge.

Ganja the Belgian Malinois and Hazen the German Shepherd Dog
Owner:  Mr. Patrick Mendoza
Basic Protection

We learned of Manalo K9 thru the internet.

The place is nice and it is fit for dog training.
The people are very polite and we were confident that our dogs were in good hands.  We were very much pleased when visiting the camp, and we were overwhelmed by the many dogs they trained.  They accommodated us immediately when we arrived.  We were happy about how our dogs were trained, as well as the transfer of commands.  The lecture part is very easy to understand, the commands are easily remembered.

Jingo the Belgian Malinois
Owner:  Sanchez Family
Basic Obedience

Hi Doc Abel, Alex, Bogs and to your entire Manalo K9 Team.

It has been a week now since we fetched Jingo and he is exactly five months then (Feb. 18, 2012).  I got Jingo when he was just 2 months.  This puppy has turned from a playful pup to a disciplined young dog.  His transformation, though short, was really remarkable.  He follows all our commands and is very attentive.  My wife, Chim, even attested to his being well behaved during the day when I am at the office.  Chim already learned to handle Jingo and was impressed when she commands "SLOWLY", Jingo would really listen and follow.  I have been observing him, too, and realized that his newly acquired knowledge and discipline is so well entrenched that I am missing his playfulness.  His barkings to strangers was also reduced and only exhibits aggressiveness at the initial encounter.  He would totally stop barking when introduced.  I tried it with cohort cum friend/ agitator.

I am now trying to firm up his muscles and feed him more to prepare him for the next level... Advanced Obedience with Agility.  I am also trying to strengthen his prey drive by giving him Bite and Off/Out commands to prepare him also for Protection Training in the near future.

I would like to thank you, Doc Abel, Alex Aragones, Bogs, and your entire Team who somehow contributed to the betterment of our dog, Jingo.  We wish you more power.

Looking forward to our next encounter.

Astro the Maltese
Owner: Ms. Sarah Espidol
Basic Obedience

We never got the chance to visit the Manalo K9 facility.  We missed Astro, but we were confident that he was in good hands.  The lecture part of the Transfer of Commands was very informative, and we were very impressed with what Astro has learned during the Graduation.  The trainer was very friendly.  When I meet people with dogs, I will definitely tell them about Manalo K9!"

Kiko (second) the Philippine Aso
Owner:  Ms. Alexandra and Ms. Irma
Basic Obedience, with Behavior Modification (Excessive Aggression - Kiko trusted NOBODY, guarded his food and cage, and would show his teeth to everyone who would come close.  Would definitely bite!)

Our first impression with Manalo K9 was that the staff members were GREAT!  But our first visit was at noon, and we were a bit bothered by the hot surroundings, and worried about our dog.  But we were impressed at their extraordinary care of our dog.  We were not worried, but we missed our dog.  We were pleased during the subsequent visits to the camp to visit our dog.  We were treated perfectly well when we visited or called.  The Transfer of Commands, especially the Display Part was great.  We would definitely recommend Manalo K9's services.  Will pass on your number!

(Photo above shows Kiko with Trainer Bogz and Admin Officer Phey.  After one month of training, socialization and reconditioning, Kiko has become a friendly, happy dog.  He no longer distrusts humans, and let everyone pet him and happily plays!  A very happy ending!)

MEEPO the Pom-spitz
Owner:  Krizia Calen
Basic Obedience

It's been three years since Meepo got his basic obedience training at Manalo K9 and I'm proud to say that he still knows all the commands very well!  I love Meepo very much and am glad I chose Manalo K9 for his training and development.  We had a great time with the friendly people at Manalo K9, and our experience with them had been very positive.  We would not have chosen any other training facility other than Manalo K9.  Thanks, guys!  From me and Meepo...

Bogart the German Shepherd
Dog
Owner:  Ms. Gienah Giducos
Basic Obedience

Thank you so much, Manalo K9, for training Bogart!  He has improved so much during his training.  My family, friends, and I had so much fun visiting the training center to see Bogart, and especially because the staff were very friendly.  It was really worth it to see Bogart well-taken cared of, and how he did so well with his lessons!  We recommend Manalo K9 to everyone who wants their dogs trained, it is really wonderful to have such a great and obedient dog as a best friend.  I am really so proud of Bogart!

ANINO the Black German Shepherd Dog
Owner:  Ms. Analyn Paraan
Basic Obedience

The people at Manalo K9 were very accommodating.  I've already done research + read some forum and the feedback has been good, thus I was comfortable leaving Anino in good hands.  I did worry during the first few days, but when I visited, I already saw that the staff were taking good care of her.  We were pleased during our visits to the camp to see our dog, and were treated well, also when we called.  During the Transfer of Commands, the Lecture Part gave us a bit of knowledge on how to handle the dog, but the Display and Hands-On Parts are what I like best because we
were able to see Annie's progress.  We are happy with Anino's training and how it was handled by the Manalo K9 people.

Zeus the Belgian Malinois
Owner: Mr. Manuel
Basic Obedience

The Manalo K9 staff was very cordial and accommodating.  I did not worry about leaving my dog with them.  All our questions were properly addressed when we visited or called.  I was pleased at how I learned the commands so quickly during the Transfer of Commands.  I was surprised to see Zeus responding well to commands!   The Lecture Part was very informative.

Kiko (first) the Philippine
Aso

Owner:  Ms. Lidia Pola (Brussels, Belgium)
Advanced Obedience

After almost two years in the Philippines I had to go back to Europe; I decided to bring Kiko with me, but I could not do it right away.  Besides, Kiko had grown very strong and energetic, and was not easy to handle, especially when walking him around.  I needed training for him, and I needed care.  Finally, I found Manalo K9 on the internet one day, and it was the solution.  I called Doc Abel right away, and a couple of weeks later I entrusted Kiko to the Manalo K9 Training Center, where I met the management and the staff.  I immediately felt in tune with the attitude and philosophy of the centre, and I felt very safe about the way my dog was handled by a professional, attentionate, and absolutely trustworthy team.  I have been keeping in touch all the time with Doc Abel about Kiko, and regularly received pictures and videos of him, showing his achievements.  He already completed both basic and advanced obedience, and he is really looking forward to going home now, wherever home is, I guess... Kiko is a Philippine native dog, with a lot of personality and a distinctive intelligence and self-reliance.  See you soon, Kiko!!
