Philippine Aso Project - First Major Event

The 1st Major Event 

Title: National Gene Pool Selection

The Philippine Aso Project held a successful launch on December 3, 2011 at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Music Hall.  

Below are photos of some of the highlights of the event:

One of the Philippine Aso Group members, Dean Mark Agrimano Reyes, who brought his dogs; and Mr. June Lazarte, internationally-famous animal trainer, who owned/trained Saver the Wonderdog (RIP), who performed during the event with his new dogs Miky and Angela.

The University of the Philippines' Lady Veterinarians Student's Association members, with their adviser, Dr. Rina Tan-de Luna, U.P.-College of Veterinary Medicine's College Secretary, at the registration area, which they manned.

The amazing and energetic Philippine Dog Owners (PDO) group members, who are also members of the Philippine Aso Organization.

Mr. Fred Alimusa, internationally renowned cynologist, dog behaviorist, trainer, and columnist of Animal Scene Magazine, and host of DogTV on Solar TV's Follow the Leader segment, giving his talk on the Philippine Aso.

Dr. Karlo Gicana, representative of the University of the Philippines' College of Veterinary Medicine, Head of the UP Veterinary Teaching Hospital, giving his talk.

Mr. Marvinm Ortega and BUSHFIRE rocking the house with their music.  The band SLEEPYHEADS performed as well.
